Dear Daisy Families & Staff,
By now, you have received Superintendent Kristina Martineau's communication regarding Daisy Ingraham School moving to full Remote Learning starting on Monday, February 1st, through Friday, February 5th.
I'm reaching out to provide families and staff with additional information regarding the schedule for Remote Learning at Daisy next week.
Please know that we will continue to use our current schedule while all students are participating in Remote Learning next week. Classroom teachers and support staff will reach out to families with instructions on how to sign on for Remote Learning, using Google Classroom (Grades K-4) or Class Dojo (Preschool).
We are currently scheduled for Early Dismissal Days on Tuesday, February 2, and Thursday, February 4, with dismissal at 1 pm for Parent/Teacher Conferences. These virtual conferences will take place as scheduled during Remote Learning days.
Friday, February 5th, is "Favorite Sports Spirit Day" where students and staff are encouraged to wear clothing, hats, etc., celebrating their favorite sports.
Please note, as Dr. Martineau stated in an earlier email that, in the event of a weather-related closure next week, we will use one day as a traditional snow closure day, but we will transition to remote learning if multiple days are impacted and power outages are not an issue.
We plan to return to full, in-person learning for all on Monday, February 8th. Of course, remote learning always remains an option that parents/guardians can choose for their children.
